So how does that help you? You simply don’t need to save any item that you think you may or may not need to use at some point. Also if you deconstruct or sell an item to a merchant npc, they will also be binded automatically to your account. Some items are always bound, like Solo Arena gear, some items you need to equip it to bind it to you (Or you can just left click an item and select the bind option), like Overland gear, and dungeon and trials gear are binded automatically after two hours.
The Item Set Collection is a system in ESO that, in short, saves all your gear that you collect and is bound to your account.
